This episode and our last regular episode of the year is focusing on what some are saying is the best film of the year. Yes I am of course writing about, Wonka. Wonka is of course a prequel to the musical classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. And yes we're talking about our favourite prequel films. Leighs pick for prequel films is of is of course a comic book film, but arguably one of the best X-Men films, X-Men: First Class. On this one we talk about how good the writing is between Erik and Charles and how their relationship develops. We talk about all the great Fassbender scenes in the first half of the film but also why the film gets bogged down in the first half too.
