This episode as Ridley Scott is at it again releasing a new film, this time reuniting with Joaquin Phoenix, sticking a funny hat on him, creating some typically huge Ridley Scott battle scene and calling it Napoleon. This time with a Scott release we are focusing on the films star, Joaquin Phoenix and choose our favourite films of his. Martin's pick is up first, and as Joaquin Phoenix has worked with one of our favourite directors of recent times on a few occasions , it feels only right to pick a Paul Thomas Anderson film. Martin went with his more polarising and funny movies, The Master. On this one we talke about certain theory's you can draw from this film, especially towards the end. We talk about how PTA treads a fine line sometimes in laughing at these people and being drawn in to what these characters are talking about. Plus we talk about Phoenix screwing a sand women.
