Video Game Adaptations - Sonic the Hedgehog vs Resident Evil
This week on the pod as Uncharted finally hits cinemas after many years of development. We decided to see if the video game film curse is true or not. So we scraped the bottom of the barrel to find our picks for video game adaptations.

Boaz's pick for this week is the adaption of Sonic the Hedgehog. On this one we talk about the great Jim Carrey playing the villain Dr Robotnik. We talk about some of the logic of Sonic speed and how this film is heavily influenced by comic book films. Plus why sonic should be sued and put in jail! IMBD page
Martin's pick for this week is one of the first video game adaptations, the zombie film, Resident Evil. On this one we talk about how well stylised this film id in terms of directing. We talk about some of the odd decisions the script takes that leave us scratching our heads. We talk about how the film keeps second guessing you and of course discuss the, dated shall we say visual effects. IMDB page
